CueLab
A browser-only snooker toolkit built for players who want numbers they can argue with, not numbers they have to take on faith.
About
CueLab is an independent hobbyist project. It was built by a long-time club player who was tired of calculators that gave one decimal place more than the rules actually justified. The goal is to give serious amateur and county-level players a small set of well-reasoned tools they can use at home, on the baize apron or with a coach — without subscriptions, logins or coaching upsells.
What it is good for: pre-shot arithmetic (max break left, points needed on the colours), post-shot pattern review (long-pot trend, missed-shot diagnosis), rule reference, and small-tournament logistics.
What it is not good for: live match telemetry, betting, biomechanical coaching, or any claim about what a player "should" feel. Numbers help; they do not replace a coach's eye.
Contact: editorial queries only — please include "CueLab" in the subject line if your mail client supports it.
Privacy Policy
CueLab does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no email registrations and no in-app analytics that follow you across the site. Each tool computes its result in your browser and never sends the input to a server.
Third-party advertising (Google AdSense): pages on this site may display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other sites on the open Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on the visit of a user to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (or, in the EEA/UK, adssettings.google.com).
Cookies: CueLab does not set its own cookies. Third parties, including Google, may set and read cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) for ad delivery, frequency capping and reporting. You can refuse cookies via your browser settings; this may affect how ads are personalised.

Disclaimer
The information and results provided by CueLab are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not professional coaching, not refereeing advice, and not a substitute for qualified instruction. Snooker outcomes depend on human judgement, table conditions, mental state and many factors that cannot be modelled here.
Probability figures are estimates based on publicly cited professional-tournament review data and on simplified geometric models. They are intended to help you think about a frame, not to predict one. Rule references summarise WPBSA / WSF wording at time of writing; the official rulebook is always the source of truth at the table.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CueLab and its operators disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness or fitness of any result. By using these tools you accept that you do so at your own discretion.
